Made toast today.. Harder than u think in Japan.. Here's why, they don't have toasters or grills!! How will I survive without my peanut butter and jam fix!

Day 1 ate peanut butter and jam on bread 😞

Day 2 held bread over gas flame on hob; result slightly charred edges but acceptable.. Bits of bread stuck in hob tho 😐

Day 3 discovered fish griddle thing in ¥100shop

worth a try..

Bread sticks to metal once peeled off and flipped over but we have something that resembles bread!! Hurrah for creative thinking!

Good start with a morning run around Akasaka park. Found the sports area and joined the Japanese joggers!

Next up National art centre Tokyo for ISSEY MAYAKE!!

Got in before the crazy rainstorm and got to test out my new Uniqlo raincoat...it works!! (shh don't tell bosses at GU)

Took shelter in a Thai cafe which inadvertently lead to my first seafood experience!! Managed to dodge the prawns and was pleasantly surprised with the amusboush sushi roll!! Followed by Thai green curry; delicious comfort food while storm rages outside 😊😊🌪🌬🌧
